Safely secure all shelves to the wall

Put weighty or big items  on the bottommost shelves

Become familiar with earthquake and fire evacuation  procedures for all of the places, buildings, and structers you usually go to

Select safe spots in each room of your house, job and/or school building. A safe place could be under furniture or against an inside wall that isn't near windows

Stay away from bookshelves or lengthy furniture that could come down on you.

Go over "drop cover, hold on"
